Photojournalism
As The Rocky Mountain Collegian Photo Director between May 2018 - May 2019, I oversaw and directed operations for The Collegian’s Photo Desk. I managed up to 20 photographers and held weekly meetings to uphold standards, provide feedback, and facilitate learning and creativity.
Increasing photo quality and providing opportunities for other photographers to grow and expand their skill was extremely important to me in this role. To do this, I met with 2-3 photographers a week to perform critiques, give recommendations and provide learning resources.
While working as the Photo Director, I covered a variety of assignments pertaining to news, features, arts and culture.
